About the event

Course Description:

The Veda is an ancient body of universal knowledge that reveals the true laws of nature. It is also the source from which we get practices such as meditation, Ayurveda and yoga. Understanding the greater currents that underlie all events and our own our actions has unlimited practical applications to our modern lives.

Exploring the Veda (ETV) is a series of six recorded seminars of advanced knowledge from one of the world's foremost teachers of Vedic philosophy, Master-teacher Thom Knoles or as he's referred to in India, Maharishi Vyasananda.

Thom has a way of taking the broad, sometimes complex themes within the vast body of wisdom that is the Veda and making them tangible and relatable. Taking this course will rapidly accelerate your evolution and expansion. We will go deep into the knowledge and the understanding gained will profoundly change your life.

How it works:

I will offer Exploring the Veda Parts 1 through 6 sequentially over the course of about a year and a half in six weekends at my home in Mill Valley. You do not have to take all six, taking just one or a couple would be fine, but they must be taken in order. If you want to do the series but are unavailable for one of the sessions, we can arrange a home study to make it up though the group is much preferred.

Each day, we will listen to the recordings and I will facilitate, answering all questions and sharing my insights into the material. Ayurvedic meals and tea will be provided (I'm not a great cook, but my husband Ben is thankfully). I will also instruct in rounding, a new advanced technique (for Veda 1), and your morning program to prepare for each session.

Schedule:

*The times are approximate as I'm still figuring out how much time we'll need for discussions/recordings/breaks.

Saturday August 10, 9-7pm

Sunday August 11, 9-4pm

Fee:

The fee is $600 which goes to both Thom and myself. Payment options include cash, check or Venmo.
